My name is Bex, and this is my story.
I'm paddling, barely keeping my head above water. And even though I'm submerged, I'll never be clean. The layer of dirt that has clung to me since birth is a tattoo I'll wear for life.
He can't see it, though. Even when I'm torn and tattered and left in pieces, he wades into the filth to try to put those pieces back together.
He doesn't seem to understand there's nothing left to repair. To love. Just sullied fragments of a damned soul. He's willing to damn himself in order to exact revenge on those who sent me to the pit. Problem is, my name is at the top of that list, since I not only damned my own soul, but his, too.

Lucky and Becky
Goodness! Dauntless is an emotionally heartbreaking, tragic, ugly-crying and intensely addictive roller coaster ride to go on. Lucky and Becky’s ride was rough one but the deep connection they developed and most of all the understanding of one another was simply beautiful. I loved every single thrilling moment of this story.

Emotional Roller coaster!
This audible survived because of the fabulous narrator, EW. This storyline was emotional draining not to mention the lead, Becky, was very troubled, abused in every way possible but selfish at the same time. She only thought of herself throughout the entire story. "Me, me, me".....I really think Lucky (wasn't so Lucky) deserved someone better than Becky because she did not appreciate him until the very end. I was so glad when Evie went to visit Becky and told her to quit dragging Lucky along. If you like drama, kidnapping, and a alpha male in love with a troubled woman, this is the book for you!
