Ich stecke in der Hölle fest, der echten Hölle. Fast alles und jeder hier versuchen mich umzubringen. Sogar der Gott, der behauptet, er habe mich einst geliebt, hätte mir fast das Leben genommen.
Mein Glück wird sich aber schon bald ändern. Ich habe es satt, Persephone, Mensch und Außenseiterin in den Hades Tribunalen, zu sein. Es ist mir gelungen, ein kleines bisschen der Göttin in mir wiederzuerwecken, und jetzt habe ich Kräfte, und keine Skrupel, sie zu nutzen.
Obwohl ich ehrlich gesagt keine Ahnung habe, wie das gehen soll. Auch weiß ich nicht, was ich vor sechsundzwanzig Jahren getan habe, das dazu geführt hat, dass ich vom Olymp vertrieben wurde, wofür mich Fremde jetzt bestrafen wollen. Ich weiß nur, dass ich die erste Runde der Hades Tribunale überlebt habe, und jetzt eine weitere vor mir liegt. Mit jeder Etappe komme ich meiner Rückkehr nach New York näher.
Denn hier kann ich nicht bleiben. Der Olymp ist voller Monster, und er wird von Monstern regiert, und ich passe hier nicht hinein.
Doch das Problem ist, je mehr ich über den geheimnisvollen König der Unterwelt erfahre, desto mehr zweifle ich daran, dass er hier hineinpasst. Unsere Verbindung ist unbestreitbar, und das ist den anderen Göttern nicht entgangen. Sie wollen nicht, dass ich im Olymp bleibe, und jetzt, da ich meine Kräfte zurückgewonnen habe, werden sie sicherstellen, dass die nächsten drei Tribunale noch gefährlicher für mich werden, und vielleicht tödlich.
Wenn ich sie überlebe, bin ich meiner Heimkehr einen Schritt näher. Wenn ich jedoch weiter Zeit mit Hades verbringe, bin ich mir nicht sicher, ob ich mich jemals wieder losreißen kann.
