Excellent Story

I love it. Kept my attention throughout entire book. Wasn't over saturated with love scenes like previous books

Absolutely loved it

This book is a little different but fits in well with last one and the gates. I loved the heroine and found that Siv adjusted to the times. Can’t wait to see where the story of the gates lead and what will happen to justice and The carpathian locked in the underworld.

A Romantic Adventure

I loved this book. The fast paced hidden dangers that surround them, keep Vasilisa and Afanasiv relationship on an intriguing romantic path full of deceit and betrayal. Definitely a must read.

A Modern Second Generation

Always enjoyed CF’s stories some more than others but this is the second generation that is modernized, well done! Plenty of action, drama, and a unique storyline. Lycans, Carpathians, Dragonslayers, Wolves and more. Siv was an ancient Carpathian who is somewhat modernized and Vasi was groomed by her mother to be his soulmate. We also learn how interwoven their bloodlines are. Loved it!

Another super exciting romance

This series is still so enjoyable and different with great characters finding their life mates. This one revisits the Lycans, which is always a good story. You can count on a well written story with lots of action, less sex scenes thou than she used to write, miss that. Jim Frangione is an excellent narrator but is forgetting which character he’s doing way more than he used to. If you love this series, you don’t want to miss it.

worth the wait

the story of the ancients is spell binding these men have given their all to their people and yet they continue to search and to believe that their other half is out there and they never turn their back on their fellow ancient they are there through thick and thin through life and death because that is what their oath means to them with each page turn you truly hope that they all survive and that they all will be made whole again one day it's a book that brings joy and sadness happiness and so much more to your life the words always move you keep doing a wonderful job

Good story

The story was generally good, but not as exciting as some of her other books. the narrator was excellent

I have been waiting for Siv!

it was so nice for Siv to finally find his life mate. they compliment each other really really well. The narrator did a superb job reading a story for audiobooks. I cannot wait for the next book in the series
