Advice/Compliments and a Pet Peeve.
I love this story. Like I’ve mentioned in previous reviews the spicy scenes need a lot of help. Feels immature and ends up being rushed. If you’re gonna commit to them, take time to be creative, track your previous encounters so you don’t repeat yourself. Ask some friendly advice on them to see if it illicit’s a positive response or mostly cringe. Or just fade to black and let the reader’s own imagination take it away. Either way I liked the unique personalities of a lot of the characters and the depth of the world building and setting. The corruption mechanic is my only pet peeve. In was basically amounts to Nine Spheres of Hell or whatever, I get this mechanic but it seems like unless you’re a vampire or an alchemist there is no way to level up without becoming evil. Strange choice but it does help this story stand a part.

The Loss Needed To Win
Basically half of what drove the rollercoaster up and down for the happiness of this book was the loss of a relationship that was needed at the end to drive him to overcome the challenges he faced. Think the ones still in his harem are very happy with him though. This could be the end of the series because the book has the last line be “The End for now”, and legitimately could be a happy end for this section of the story with the setup for a sequel series set later a decade or three.
