The Best One in The Series!

So far, this is my favorite story in the series.

I like these stories because there is a plot and action but they have a lot of steamy romance. However, the other books in the series seemed to have more bad language during these scenes and the male characters had to be dominate. In this story, it was more balanced which has made this my favorite book in the series.

Loved it! Now I just have to wait for the next book!

ANOTHER HOW-HOW-HOWLING SUCCESS

If it's a Shifter romance that you're looking for then you've come to the right place because Suzanne Wright has delivered yet another winning combination of romance, drama, suspense and sex. Roni is an Enforcer she's fiercely independent, kick-ass and doesn't make friends easily but when she does she's a kind, loyal and loving friend. She has a wicked sense of humor and is always playing very humorous tricks on her poor Brothers but they ask for it by playing tricks on her too. As a teen she was nearly raped and, even now, everyone tries to protect her which is the last thing she wants or needs. Marcus is all looks, charisma and charm who loves the ladies but when you look beneath his polished exterior he's a complex man haunted by a history that he has no intention of repeating.

Every time Roni sees Marcus her pulse pounds and she is aware of their sexual connection and attraction. Which is good because Marcus intends to seduce her into his bed because he, and his wolf, are drawn to the prickly unsociable woman and he's quite confident and happy that Roni can't be his mate because a Seer has described his mate and what sort of life they will have which Marcus doesn't ever want. Even though neither of them are looking for their mates they eventually can't help but add all the signs up and they all point to the same conclusion.... mates.

But the secondary drama and angst is provided by a pack of Jackals who are kidnapping Shifters to taunt, abuse, torture and kill - all whilst happily filming the bloody acts. Slowly the Mercury and Phoenix Packs have to piece together clues in the hope that they will finally be able to find the elusive Shifters who are responsible for so many untimely and bloody deaths. And when they eventually track them, and the cold sadistic ringleader, the fangs, claws and fur goes flying.

This was lol funny with humorous quips and one liners but it is also a passion-filled and very hot account of how two unsuspecting Shifters found everything they needed when they least expected it. And, through many trial and tribulations, they found the inner peace that had eluded them. Dual POV's, a fun, sexy and very addictive storyline that was brilliantly narrated because there are a lot of interesting characters and each person had a distinctive voice and this is a narrator who can do sexy male voices that are just yummy.

Worth a credit? I would've gladly used a credit on this listen but I didn't have to as it was only $7.34 for over 11 hours of raw animal magnetism.... Pack style.

Paranormal Romance

Wow, another great book by Suzanne Wright. Can't wait to read the next one, and just hope there will be more books to enjoy, of the Phoenix Pack.

This is the 4th book in the Phoenix Pack series. I don’t consider these stand alone as each book builds off events from previous books. I’ve listened to this series so many time and this one of my favorites of all of them.

Roni & Marcus are so much fun as a couple. She’s quirky and even before they decide to be mates - he totally gets her and accepts her as she is. There’s several little enjoyable subplots that come together really well at the end. This also continues to meld the Phoenix & Mercury packs together so that we get updates on previous couples as well as get to know future MCs better.

Jill Redfield continues to be amazing. This is a HUGE cast of characters, male and female, young and old and she gives them all unique voices and characteristics that stay consistent throughout the series.

Note: This series is intertwined with Wright's Mercury Pack series. For chronological order of events, read/listen to Spiral of Need (Mercury Pack book 1) next.

My favorite so far!!

This book is by far my favorite out of the Phoenix pack series. Roni is so normal I guess you could say she’s easy to relateto. the storyline just has so many twists it’s a great read I understand the point of reiterating things so new people can understand them but if you read all the books you understand things like Taran healing powers and how she heals them and so forth. I love this series and would recommend it to anyone who want a little escape.

I waited a long time for this to come out. I cannot wait for the next one. I would recommend this to anyone who likes shifters books.

Very intriguing books!!!

I have to say, I didn’t think I would stay interested in the beginning of the first book but I was wrong! I have enjoyed each book very much! Book 4 is so far my favorite, it wasn’t overkill on the romance but still just as intriguing! The narrator is great to and that says allot coming from me because I have a hard time being interested in a audio book when the narrator sounds to robotic even when the story is good.
