Exciting....Explicit...it certainly is plus!
This is the second in the Roman Cantrell-Nikki Holden series and it's a hoot but also has some great backstory. Narrator Janina Edwards, you certainly understand all her awards, becomes all the characters and defines them with aplomb!
Nikki is at her most powerful as she aims her investigative sword at one evil genius. We get more of Roman's back story as an army ranger/mercenary when PTSD hits him hard.
Dialogue is the author's forte and Narrator Edwards enhances each scene. I guarantee you will love meeting "the queen of Botox & butt enhancements" Muriel Feinberg who claims she's pregnant with an alien's baby!
So are the UFO sightings a hoax? Or are they real? And what about the Army that hijacks mega-millions?
Once you start listening to Dark Corners, you won't stop!

Hang onto your hat because tough but sensitive Roman Cantrell and Nikki Holden who never wants to show HER sensitive side are back in a ripped from the headlines story—the tabloid headlines that is!
Janina Edwards who narrated the first book in this series is back to breathe life into Dark Corners. She is a superb voice actor who makes these characters come alive in this steamy mystery. You should probably have a fire extinguisher on hand because this story is hot, and the narrator's voice makes you feel as if you're eavesdropping from a dark corner!
Nikki is tracking down a UFO story, not her usual beat, while Roman is working to clear a friend's name. From space aliens to stolen arms, the dynamic duo find a way to make their hot romance even hotter. The author creates a compelling whodunnit that will have you guessing to the end.
If you're looking for a new book boyfriend, look no further than Roman Cantrell! I can hardly wait for the next book in this stellar series.
