Excellent Rendition of a Classic STory
I have read this Classic book several times over the years. This is first time on Audio. The Narration was PERFECT.
This is such a delightful book it makes you happy just to hear it. I wish there we more like books like these to
add balance to all the serious and sometimes depressing books on the market.
We need more happy wholesome books to brighten our lives .

I love Daddy Long Legs
Two great things happened to me today. I celebrated by 75th birthday and I listened to Daddy Long Legs. I cannot believe I lived 75 years without ever reading or listening to this wonderful book. I have often heard of it but just never selected it for reading. Boy did I miss out on something wonderful. It is a delightful story of an orphan girl being selected by one of the trustees of her orphanage to go to college and receive an allowance. All she had to do was write him a letter once a month. The orphan girl, called Judy, is a winsome writer. She is clever and humorous - and so entertaining. The entire book is in letter form but Judy manages to entirely portray her amazing personality. This is a book everyone should enjoy. And if you decide to listen through Audible, Megan McGinnis is the perfect choice as narrator. She performs with enthusiasm and sweetness. She sounds exactly as I expect Judy to sound. Megan IS Judy. I promise you this book is fantastic. I listened to the four hours beginning at lunchtime and did not stop until I finished. Perfect birthday.

A Wonderful Book
The narrator brought this beloved work to life. I could almost see the drawings from the book in her telling.
