Good story with great narrators

Honestly I just adore Andi and Joe narrations and they are the real stars of this book. They made it great when the story was just a little too basic.

Poppy is a fun character. I like how she basically took something she loved and made it into something profitable. Even while doing some crazy things like hanging on a tree. Lila wrote that scene pretty hilariously. Dylan was your average hot playboy who wants a challenge and it just so happens to be a crush. He then employs Poppy to help him.

Now the road to romance wasn’t that smooth, but Lila does know how to write scenes that you can absolutely picture in your head. I just didn’t connect to this story as much as I wanted to.

Light-hearted and fun rom-com

A really enjoyable read, "Cupids Anonymous" had the right amount of wittiness and laugh-out-loud antics that kept me intrigued throughout this light-hearted and fun rom-com. The idea of a modern-day Cyrano was a clever choice, and provided a fresh and creative way of delivering this tale. I loved the irony of how Poppy played Cupid for her clients, but was not so lucky in love herself. Andi Arndt and Joe Arden were the perfect narrating duo, and their ability to capture all the humor and amusement made this a very entertaining audio experience.

Great book!

This was just such a fun read. So many laughs. Great story line and loved the narrators!

Fun Rom Com

Lila Monroe delivers a fun Ron Com with witty banter and the best narrators. Joe Arden and Andi Arndt are two of my favorites and they don't disappoint in their delivery on this one.
Its a fun light listen, you can't go wrong with it.

A True Romcom!!! Funny and Adorable...

So the last book I listened to that the reviews said was funny, was not! Take my word and Lol belly laugh for it when I say this is a funny romantic comedy! Would love to hear more from Lila Monroe. Andi Arndt and Joe Arden always do a great job! So worth your time and credit!!!!

Super cute & Funny!

This story is cute, funny and has the perfect narrators! You cant go wrong with this one. Light and easy that will make you laugh along the way.

ADORABLE!!

Just the right amount of fluffy, adorable, humor, and sex appeal....sexy times!!!! When things just aligned right with each other, especially under your nose. I thought it’s sweet how this story goes with Poppy and Dylan. It’s one of those “good feeling” kind of read.

A cute & sweet listen. I liked the premise and the overall feel of the story. What got me was the narration since it added so much to the characters and the story overall.

Monroe, Arndt, and Arden deliver

This was a sweet and fun listen. It’s so enjoyable when the main couple already knows one another but haven’t necessarily thought about each other in a romantic way. Poppy and Dylan are well-developed (though the growth balance tips perhaps slightly more towards Poppy) and their story was low on angst and high on laughs, which is a quality I always appreciate. 

Poppy has such a unique job; the fact that she is a modern, female Cyrano is just so refreshing. This is a genre that rarely takes risks with character professions; it was a nice change to read about a character pursuing a career that wasn’t a trope. Don’t get me wrong, I love some of the tried and true tropes, but so often characters, especially heroines, tend to do the same things for a living. This was a fun change up.

One thing I do wish is that there had been more chapters from Dylan’s p.o.v. This might explain why Poppy struck me as slightly more developed as a character. If we had more time with Dylan, we’d notice his development more. I also wanted more Dylan because that would mean more Joe Arden (🐓). Who doesn’t want that?

Arden as Dylan and Andi Arndt (👸) as Poppy were perfectly cast. An author can’t go wrong when two such talented narrators are bringing their characters to life.

Overall, I enjoyed this one, and I hope ‘Cupids Anonymous’ is the start of an entire new series from Lila Monroe. There are so many wonderful supporting characters here whose potential stories piqued my interest, from Poppy’s BFFs Natalie and April, to Dylan‘s assistant Lara. And the dynamic between everyone is just so joyful. The world that Monroe has created is so welcoming, and the characters so endearing, that it just makes you want to read and hear more. Well worth a listen. ❤️🎧
