April 1284. As a newly widowed lady-in-waiting to the very pregnant Queen Eleanor of England, Catrin never expected to return to Wales again. I’m so excited about this new series.
I love Sarah Woodbury’s books and this one did not disappoint. If you’ve read any of her other series, this will feel familiar but not redundant. The characters are well developed and I’m excited to see where the series takes them.

I struggled to finish this.
