I didn’t care for how the narrator attempted to sound like the men in the book, especially the older men. Some of the women’s voices sounded a bit suggestive or sleezy. Story was ok

Great listen
I enjoyed listening to this story of Emma,Isaac and their community. I felt like I got to know many of the characters and this one felt more in a longer timeline to get to the ending than other amish books I have read.

Good continuation.
I read the first book and was cautious about this one. Would it be able to measure up to that? Well, it did and was just as compelling a read. I would recommend this book to anyone that read and enjoyed the first of the series.

loved it.. was great to follow Emma and Issac journey.. and was also great to catch up with other characters like Elizabeth and Saul .. I felt the all the emotions with the trails and the triumphs..
