Absolutely adored this sweet story! Greer is strong, capable, and just needs to get her chance! Roman is devoted and adores everything about Greer. But, he has secrets…secrets that could be life-changing. So much happening in this wonderful story!! Great listen!!

This Audiobook was narrated by Harley Graves, who does a great job! He does bring out the emotions of the characters. However, it was difficult to follow at times because his portrayals of the female and male characters sound exactly the same. So, I had trouble determining whose POV some chapters were. Otherwise, great!

Swoon worthy

Keep those you love close to your heart.” This book got me in the feels. Greer is an absolutely strong woman who has tragedy and an un requited love but still found the best. She puts herself out there and I just adored her. I loved that both characters are flawed and still do their best for those around them. My heart just swooned all over this book!

Narrator did a good job on both female and male characters.

great story. I enjoyed the anxiety rep and the chemistry between the main characters. the audio popped/cut out a few times and I do wish this was a duet but otherwise it was great.

Great Story

The narration is good. Story is great. Roman and Greer have a fake romance which they are actually lying to themselves.

A story you can fall in love with...

Loved listening to this story come alive, as if I was right there. The narrator did a great job! Roman and Greer have known each other from a young age. From her brother's best friend to her love.
Roman has always been there for her and swore he always would be. I loved Roman and Greer from the very beginning of this story. You fall in love with them as they are learning how much they care for each other. I love how their love develops and it's not like some books where by the second page they are already in love.
Logan Chance gives you a story where you experience the same emotions they are going through as you follow their paths to each other.
You can relate to what they are going through in their lives and learn to heal as well if you experience anything like Roman and Greer have gone through. I definitely can't wait to read more from Logan.

Story was good. Loved Greer and Roman. And, hey, if you are gonna lie about a relationship, make it a good one!
The narration was okay.

Romantic and hot - by Shana W

I loved this book!  Greer and Roman's fauxmance is romantic and hot. You can feel their love and their chemistry come right off the page, which is a testament to Logan Chance's excellent writing. Roman is coping with a lot, in terms of his anxiety, and he is lucky to have Greer in his corner. Both MCs are also dealing with difficult family histories. I love their found family and the support they all give each other. I absolutely recommend the book.

UPDATE for audiobook:
3 stars narration
Overall, I enjoyed the audiobook. I am not overly fond of Harley Graves as a narrator.  His voice is too breathy and deep, and you can hear every time he swallows or takes in a breath, which irritated me for some reason.
I received an audiobook copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Very beautiful and emotional

Cross My Heart is one of my absolute favorite books from this author. This story is so emotional and heart felt yes we still get the steam we’ve come to love from this author a bit of angst but…… the writing was absolutely flawless, the story flowed brilliantly it hit on subjects that are so sensitive and it was spot on.
From someone who suffers anxiety for years this story touched me I got all the feels.

Roman and Greer grew up together being best friends, actually older brothers best friend, this trope is one of my favorites and Logan blew it away it was not your same ole typical story line.

Can two best friends who also have some demons of their own find peace and love between each other ?
Well…. Pick this book up and find out.
The audio on this was amazing narrator did an excellent job
