an absolute must read!

let me start by saying, the narrator does an excellent job! He truly makes this story come to life. He does a wonderful job with voicing the characters. He, at times, will definitely make you feel a little terror. if you are a fan of vigilante justice, you are going to love this series! If you have not read the first book in the series, I highly recommend you start with that. You need to find out how Alec becomes who he is. from that moment on, you are going to go on an extremely wild, and entertaining ride! In this second book of the series, Alec is in full force! although there are some disturbing and dark crime activity in this book, the scary thing is it is reality. Alec takes care of it all! if you are like me, the second you are finished with this book you will be looking to pick up the next book in the series. I guarantee, you will not be disappointed! This is a must read!

Angel/demon vigilante

This is action packed. I was so happy to get the second book in this series. Loved it just as much as the first. I won't give spoilers I don't like them. I'm waiting with baited breath for the third one.
The narrator brings the story to life.
I will definitely listen to it again.

Vigilante Justice

This is the second book in Chariss K Walker's Alec Winters Series. This book follows Alec's life as he has returned to New Orleans and now he hunts the streets of the city looking to punish those who harm others. This story is darker and more twisted than the one presented in the first book. The author has written a dark novel with very sensitive issues, in such a way that I find myself drawn into the drama. I am very curious to see where the next book in the series will take Alec and his family. Walt Allen's narration is excellent, not only because he provides distinctive voices for the characters, but because he manages to convey the darker elements with great pathos. I was given a free copy of the audiobook and I have voluntarily left this review.

An Interesting Listen

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request, and have voluntarily left this review. Alec has retired from the Army and is living back at home. His days are spent at his job or visiting with friends and family, but at night he hunts for the evil of the city. Even though he's careful, he is attracting attention the press, one reporter in particular. One fateful night he saves her life, that one event will affect his life in ways he's doesn't understand. Well written with suspense and action, very dark at times though. Looking forward to the next book.
