I would gladly supply names and numbers if I could remember any of them. I’m not a jerk. I’m just forgetful. Except when it comes to Sophie. Sure her lips call me every horrible name in the book, but her eyes light up with fire whenever we’re near each other. Sophie’s utter loathing of me only makes her more desirable. All I need is one night to get her out of my system.

When we became roommates, I knew she wouldn’t be able to resist me for long. But little did I know I wouldn’t be able to resist falling in love.

So funny, sexy and sweet!

I laughed the entire time!!! The dialog was so relatable. I thought 'Oh wow I've had that conversation before' lol!!
Doug is such an arrogant goofball but so loveable!! Sophie & he are a perfect match. The author os skilled at developing a slow burn but coting the real life moments that are embarrassing & hilarious. The story acknowledges the simmering attraction of these 2 but when they put the desire on the back burner and learn to become unlikely best friends the real romance unfolds.

The whole thing is pure entertainment, charming with just enough heat to make it sexy.

The narrators are great, especially the male actor. He really captured the essence that is Doug!

Definitely one of my favorites. The writer on par with Pwnny Reid!

A sexy, humorous, rom-com. Not really steamy but that's not this story's draw, it's the well written character development and their relationship, enhanced by two spectacular narrators. Extremely enjoyable.

I listen to alot of books but this one made me laugh and cry. Such a beautiful story!

So funny and lovable!!!

The characters were hilarious and real!!! Their interaction was like those between real couples….not the “perfect” couples we usually see in books. There was fumbles and mumbles, like in real life!! It was a treat!!!!

Not my cup of tea

Found this to be a bit juvenile and whiney. No real story to it.

It gets better as the story goes along

This one I struggled with and wanted to shut off numerous times. I think its because I didnt like Doug. He seems immature..making crude comments and seems to be only after one thing. We see him again five years later and now he is 32. He still seems written like a young twentysomething. We do get to know him more simply because he moves in with Sophie. I did really like him by the end of the story. Sophie is as shocked as I am…because he seems to grow on her.

This does take a turn once they go camping. We get to see the whole group throughout the story but here is where they shine. I laughed more than once at Doug during that trip.

I did listen to this on audio. Kelli Trager and Quentin Hudsbeth both do a good job.

This was one of the funniest books I've read....from start to finish, absolutely loved it! 💖
