Heartbreaker

For the longest time it never clicked for me why would they name a book after a person that wasn't going to make it until I read the whole storyline then I was like "oooooh the story is about his brother not him directly.

Loved it !! this story. the narrator is so fantastic it's like your really there!! good overall

Alpha Male Alert!

I loved this book = its the sweetest yet with a broken alpha male redeemed through love of a good woman. All of these big, bad men who are sweet on the inside for their women are swoon worthy. The dual narration works well though I'm still not crazy about Crisden's voice.

WARNING: This entire series is heavy on the alpha male - I find it hot to read but if you don't, here's your warning.

Great story

Harper Sloan writes another great story line. It tugs at the heartstrings while being a great erotic romantic suspense!

This ending....

I've enjoyed every one of these books, but this one has made a lasting impression all because of the ending. So moving!

I have a copy of the book from years ago. when I need a love story that has gone through some stuff but come out on the happy ending side this is it.

I'm totally in love with this book and the others, I'm hoping to read one on sway...that would be the icing on the cake!! ❤

That was unexpected

Overall, the story was okay. Not a wow or anything, but worth a listen. The Sarah Jane spin was lost on me. It was unnecessary when the Murphy plot was right there and ready to have the trigger pulled. Instead we get a psycho who was mentioned for an all of 2 seconds.

And the back and forth “I’ll tell him! .... Or not.” It seems to be a theme to have the women be avoidance queens. It was annoying enough in the first book, but by now it’s a downright disaster.
