Dark and erotic

The book has some paranormal staff, a lot of hot sex scenes and psychological games. This story has a very interesting and exciting beginning; however, as it progresses it is all about Cassandra's sex drive and no actual storyline.

Narrator was great. She was able to portray all the emotions and used different voices for numerous characters.

I loved the hot scenes! Very sexy and unpredictable...Meghan Kelly did an amazing job with showing passion, fear and then love❤️❤️

LEFT WITH AN UNKNOWING FEELING

This book, Its so strange but good in a dark way. I had to keep going to see what happened to Cassandra and Markos. It gave me all sorts of different emotions. I'm still left with loving/hating/confusion/contentment. The narrator Meghan Kelly was amazing, I appreciate the smoothness of the reading.

Erotic story!!

I definitely enjoyed this very dark paranormal story. It is Hot as hell and a must listen. This book has a lot of twists and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat. I highly recommend this book.
Meghan Kelly does a phenomenal job with the characters of the story. I will definitely be listening to more of Meghan Kelly.

I loved this story. But, it truly came alive listening to Meghan Kelly. She did a wonderful job with their voices! I will have to look for more books narrated by her!

Details are exquisite

Well, the story line started strong. Then, it felt like the writer was in a hurry to finish the book and left many strings unattached and it’s all a blur half way through. Very detailed sexual encounters. Lacks true feeling and intimacy. Story ending was horrible.

I loved this story. But, it truly came alive listening to Meghan Kelly. She did a wonderful job with their voices! I will have to look for more books narrated by her!

My favorite Sara Fields to date...

I loved everything about this book! It was dark, twisted, and incredibly hot!! The storyline was unique and compelling. The characters were intriguing. I just adore Sara's style of writing!

I'm not sure Meghan would have been my first choice to narrate this book. It's not that she did a bad job because her performance was fine. She just wasn't the best fit for this book in my opinion.

Very dark erotic story!

I usually read romance books with HEA endings. I do like dark romance books. This book blew my mind. I would not classify it as a romance book. It is a dark possession or consumption of mind, body, and soul. Throughout this story I kept wondering if this was all in Kassandra's mind or was it a reality. Even though she doesn't know it, she is from the light world, while Markos is ruler of the dark world. If he can control her body, mind, and soul and marry her, they will rule the world. This story contains many erotic and steamy sexual scenes as Markos tries to achieve her total submission.I found it hard to put down.

Meghan Kelly did an excellent job of bringing these characters to life. Her voice portrayed Markos as a dark sinister person. Kassandra came across as a confused yet very sexually aroused woman. Meghan nailed the intensity of the sexual scenes.

I received this Audible book in exchange for an honest review. This is one of those books that I had to take a day before I wrote this review. I also listened to the last chapter again because it answered most of it the questions about what was happening to Meghan. There were so many twists and turns in this story. I did like this book and recommend it to readers that like very dark paranormal books. Sara Fields takes you are on one wild ride.

Saber-rattling With Supernaturals Not A Cake Walk!

Consumed: A Dark Paranormal Romance with a saber-rattling between uncover agent Kasandra and underworld mogul Marcos. The beginning of this dark paranormal romance captivates your mind. Danger & mystery lurking through the pages of this mind-bending listen. I love the aspect of vampires. My only gripe is I wish their was more of their history, also character's are not as well seasoned as I would prefer. As the narrative unfolds it moves more towards erotica than the actual suspense and an ending that leads you into craving a more savvy & polished ending.

Narator Meghan Kelly is the perfect example of how a narator can make or break a tale. Her flawless performance and impression accurately portrays the characters in my mind . Her performance was impeccable. She has the ability to articulate each character in a way that gives them their own voice. She is able to perform a variety of characters with different tones and voice accents with perfect pace.
