The book, Conceptual Revolutions, explores the philosophy of science, including the notion that there is no truth, only a relativity of wrong. The goal of science is to find a new truth that is less wrong than the previous one.
This is like looking into a black box. You need to shine enough light into the black box to enable new discoveries to become mature scientific fields of study. Then you can move on to the next box. What’s left behind is a scientific platform that can be used for new technologies to emerge and improve the human experience. As we move from box to box, our technologies advance and our collective level of consciousness increases.
Understanding that you can never fully understand everything is the pain that we need to carry for progress. First principles and hard work must be done to shine more light in these basic sciences. Finding the right question is frequently the hardest thing to do. Once you have this question, the answer is within your grasp.
This book is about questions and the evolution of basic science.
