Laurel Canyon in the 1960s and early 1970s was a magical place where a dizzying array of musical artists congregated to create much of the music that provided the soundtrack to those turbulent times. Fantastic work of scholarship
The author has pulled off a highly entertaining and deep-dive scholarly survey of the bedrock themes of Indo-European myth and legend. A really unique and irreplaceable book…expertly read by the narrator.
