great story and narrator reall interesting really kept me listening didn't want to go to bed

Celeste is a very unlikable character

The story had the potential to be really good, but the character of Celeste was extremely unlikable. At first, she was someone you would have sympathy toward, but she later showed that she was selfish and uncaring toward those who loved her, including her husband. She lied to him constantly, and showed that she didn’t care at all about his feelings. Especially the incident with the tattoo. I was hoping by the end of the book the situation would be resolved, perhaps she would have gotten it removed, but it wasn’t. Incredibly disappointing, especially since I have always loved JR Erickson’s other novels.

There's just no way around it... JR Erickson is my FAVORITE author

I read this book when it was initially released and then couldn't wait to listen to it. The narrator did a great job- and that's very important to me. This book is full of mystery, creepiness, paranormal activity, murder & lovable characters. I LOVE the combination of NDE's, murder mystery, psychic abilities and ghosts. I can not WAIT until November to see where this book left off.

Near death experience….

After Celeste suffers a near death experience and receives the sight, she ventures to a small town in Michigan to help a girl find her missing sister. Once again, JR Erickson leaves you wondering until the last minute who did what.

Excellent from start to finish! one of my favorite books from this author for sure. The mystery kept you hooked, characters were relatable, and narration was perfect. I did not want this book to end. Really looking forward to the next one.

The mystery kept going!!

I have listened to several books from this author and I really like most of them! This particular book kept me interested and I admire the authors attention to detail! Also good use of characters! I like it so much I am writing a review! I have listened to over 200 titles and given only a handful!

Wow awesome

This was such a good book I was guessing who and who until the end then I knew but I didn’t see it coming!!! Definitely recommend reading! I am starting the second one of this series now and I can’t wait!!!

Good read

Eventhough I figured it out very early on, I still thoroughly enjoyed it. Definitely worth it.
