Not Mitch Rapp

The premise was interesting, but the story ended up uni- dimensional. The narrator was not at the level of George Guidall or Scott Brick, and his lack of inflection slowed the pace of the production. I will give David Archer 1 more try, though.

Unfortunately everyone is so "Nice"!

I had expected a character and story such as the likes of Detective Black or Evan Smoat (the No Where man) or even Jason Bourne; but alas, the dialogue is rather flat and all the characters seem to be one dimensional ("Nice"). However, I decided to finish the book to its predictable end.

This book could almost be included in a Juvenal Library.

CODE NAME: EXCELLENT EXCITEMENT!

David Archer promised a tale of action and excitement and he truly delivered, exceeding my expectations. I wanted to be entertained and I was, yet far beyond. Our character, Noah Wolf, is just what AND who I wanted. You really need to read/listen to this one! If I tried to tell you about him, I'd be giving away a large part of the plot. Get it, enjoy it, and thank David Archer and Adam Verner (need to find more done by this talented gentleman )....and me!

Great Performance of a Great Book

I am glad I took a chance on a new author and an unknown reader. Tha story was Excellent, the author did an excellent job of taking an old story line and breathing new life in to it. Characters that would have been lifeless in the hands of a less skilled author were given skills, purpose and a cause then set on a path where right is never sacrificed for success.
The performer gave the story's characters life and his audio portrayal of the nuances if the many facets of the story was never dull or lifeless.
My thanks to both the author and the performer for making this audio book an unexpected treat!

Not many surprises but interesting.

Interesting story with only a few twists that aren't too predictable. Characters seemed realistic and engaging, especially the main character "Noah", who was not quite as 'odd' as advertised. Would definitely recommend as an easy read that doesn't require much thought. Narrator was good.

I bit slow but good overall.

I got the book for free and added audible to it for $0.99, the book is a bit slow for my liking but good enough I bought the rest of the series. I read fast so audible is super slow in comparison so I'm glad I don't pay for it.

Great book. Didn't want to put it down even at 3 in the morning.

New Narrator

This may have been a good book but the performance was one of if not the worst I have heard. This is saying something as I have 300+ books in my library.
I was looking forward to others in the series but will not be buying another.
I am not going to give up on the author and already purchased another from his other series...hope springs eternal.

The pace of the narration was too slow but was able to remedy that. Interesting premise. Likable characters.
