Acerca de esta escucha

Paul and Rob are back at it again—because apparently, they haven’t learned their lesson.

This time, they’re taking on the wild and breathtaking Yorkshire Coast Path, a journey from Spurn Point in the south to Teesmouth in the north, following what is probably the world’s fastest-eroding coastline (so best read this quickly before it disappears entirely).

But this isn’t just a stroll along the beach. Along the way, the duo stumbles upon tales of pirates, smugglers, explorers, princes, battles, shipwrecks, and enough history to make your head spin. Ever heard of the town that never was? What about the prince with a taste for the ladies? And why on earth are there secret military bases absolutely everywhere?

Then, of course, there are the more pressing questions: Who was Gertrude of Arabia? Why was there a woman named John? And what, for the love of Yorkshire tea, was Biggles doing up here?

Throw in lost villages, sunken forests, and two bumbling walkers who spend more time getting lost than actually walking, and you’ve got one of their most ridiculous and fascinating adventures yet.

Paul has tackled some of the UK’s greatest long-distance walks, including Hadrian’s Wall Path, The Cleveland Way, and Wainwright’s Coast to Coast. He has also spent most of that time being lost.
