sad ending to great book

so out of the the 3 books this one was great. my biggest issue with the last book is that it was rushed it feels like. had great flow till middle of book then it went warp 9 in speed. imo there could have been another 2-3 books with what happened in the book. sad to see a great series end to soon.

hit all the feels

I loved this series. It was a great listen, with characters that draw you in and with enough tists and turns to keep you engaged. I like that it had a conclusive ending, no cliffhangers or last minute new challenge to draw out the story. At the same time, I was sad for it to end. That bittersweet spot of satisfied but still wanting more.

It's good to see gamelit books with an ending.

I've listened to this series twice now and it holds up.

Well written and preformed.

This edition contained a lot of emotion which is a nice change from the usual emotional whitewash that occurs nowadays.

So good!! But quick ending

I wish it was a little longer. While I appreciate the authors note at the end, it would have been super cool if it had been from Jynns POV. Still great though and worth the listen!! The narrator is fantastic and the story is great!

40 hours in i started skipping ahead

When you are 40 hours right in the middle of the ending and you start using the skip button you know something went wrong. I would say the books are around a 3.5 star rating, it's alright in general, things that pull it down are a shallow system, occasional poor understanding of biology, monster functionality and movement, and so on with minor flaws. But in the end i would never recommend a book series with an ending that mad me skip ahead.
