The zombie virus has taken over the City hospital and a Cargo Ship, while the bank robbers are on the run.
But as they lay low on a ship bound for South America, one of them is dying and comes back as an Undead creature, spreading the virus even further.
Meanwhile, the police officers of Clifton Falls are called to the City hospital when a student suddenly falls ill.
But this is no ordinary illness, and soon the student wakes up as one of the advanced zombies - harder to kill and more dangerous.
The police struggle to contain the chaos as the zombie wreaks havoc and brings more of the Undead to life.
On Old Clifton Hill, a construction crew discovers three empty graves behind a hedgerow while dismantling the farmhouse of the first reborn zombie. But they don't realize the danger until one of their own is attacked by an invisible assailant.

This is a great zombie series. Lee Andrew Taylor is hitting his stride with the third part of Clifton Falls. I have enjoyed all the books in the series, but this one is my favorite so far. (now I am just waiting for part four!)
