ENDING GAVE ME GOOSEBUMPS
I enjoyed this children's novel, I remember watching the film of this book, but somehow the ending gave me the chills despite it being pretty much the same ending (the film still did scare me as a child, not so much anymore). Overall good book :)

Buyer be wear, you're in for a scare.
Poor Carly. Ugh the worm prank, so crazy. Almost cried when she found the mask had become her actual face. Glad she managed to get free of it, though. Mr. Stein at his best here.

Good, but Quiet
I loved the story. Very traditional R.L. Stine here; so if you're a fan of his work, then this is a good choice for your collection. The only downside is that the narrator is really, really quiet. Luckily, I have my phone connected to my car stereo through Bluetooth, so I could turn the volume loud enough to hear her. Hopefully, if I ever come across one of her narrations again, she'll be louder.

A very classic and sweet Halloween tale, and I'd go so far as to say kind of relatable if you've ever felt like you get picked on too much. Well written, well voice acted & Carly-Beth is such a sweetheart!
