The story is interesting and the characters are well constructed. And unlike Herbie's letters reviews need to have at least fifteen words.

My seventh grade teacher had us read this novel. It instantly became my favorite book. Fifty years later it's still my favorite book.

Seemed longer than it was

Just boring. Hours and hours of a little kids crush on a girl. There could have been more but I could not make it through.
