It would help if they told you the pinyin spelling

It's an overall great approach however when it's very hard to discern exactly what sound is being made by the speaker errors are introduced when you don't know the spelling of the transliteration. For this reason people have published transcripts online however they have been sued by the maker of this book and forced to take those transcripts offline

This is a great way to start a new language

As someone with ADHD. I decided to learn as I ran a few miles rather than listen to music. I've read a few books about Mandarin but honestly couldn't focus we'll enough. Not any more!

This is only Chinese lesson one and I had a pep talk with my acupuncture doctor already. It was fun, desirable, quick. I had to listen a couple of time in order to let myself to talk 1st.

Just a intro

first lesson is pretty good actually. I thought it was just an intro, but it has a few chapters

good tool if you have the time

the conversations towards the end are a little too fast but you can always rewind in 30 second intervals as many times as you want so it's bearable.
