The Chimes in the Tree story continues as The Lost Princess of Chaparral, Katie Windsor, returns home to Windermere just to be treated as the odd misfit, once again. In Katie’s case, an old wizard named, Robur summons a glowing soul from the past to help our princess control her newfound magical powers.

However, there’s another spirit lurking in the shadows, as well. A Mother of Bones is building something very dark, indeed. Katie will need an enchanted lantern’s light, much like the one her grandmother, Eshe, gave her, if she is to ever stand a chance of seeing this adventure through to the bitter end.

Captivating and Intriguing Tale

Chimes in the Tree: You Say Witch Like It's a Bad Thing by Jazan Wild is a captivating tale about a young witch and the challenges—how she came to be, adventures, friendships, and schooling—she had to face and embrace. This enabled her to emerge and embrace her power as a witch without viewing it as unfavorable. Kathy's emotional encounters were challenging, and I was relieved when they transferred her to a magic school. Although she still faced emotional encounters, the presence of her protector and her royal status made her journey there more bearable. The stories in each chapter were adventurous and captivating, keeping my imagination and emotions on edge. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and wished it were a movie to see what I imagined. I recommend this book as intriguing entertainment; you won't regret it.
