Next, Margery Williams' revered children's story of a stuffed rabbit who longs to be real, The Velveteen Rabbit has been one of the world's most beloved children's books for the past 100 years and was chosen as one of the "Teachers Top 100 Books for Children."
And finally, Lewis Carroll's classic duo of nonsense and imagination, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass, books that were immediate sensations upon publication. Both books relate the story of Alice, a young girl who tumbles down a rabbit hole into a world filled with talking rabbits, grinning cats, mad hatters, and vengeful queens and, in book two, her trip through a mirror into another, magical world.
