Engaging and thought-provoking.
I especially enjoyed the commentary regarding the opinions and thoughts, and the explanations of such, of everyone involved after the infamous incident.

Very Informative, Well Narrated

Very well done!
Not your typical dry slog. This novel is arranged well and explains not just what happened, but shows how the stage was set leading up to the event. This story may change your opinion of nuclear power…

An Excellent Detailed Overview of Chernobyl
I have read many books on the Chernobyl disaster. Many of those written years after the event, thus allowing the author to show how this crisis literally changed history on a global scale. Unlike some previous works, this book touches on all aspects of the disaster without going into a great amount of detail regarding the political and scientific causes and consequences of Chernobyl. Instead we are given a complete portrait from start to finish without getting bogged down by the engineering and design issues that some other works have spent much time covering. For the non-physicists among us, this is an ideal book to get the full story in language that is easily understood. The excellent narration of David Vickery only adds to the book's overall excellence. I highly recommend this book!
