The narrator. Too much breathlessness

The narrator went overboard with the whole breathlessness in her voice. Too much. Was terrible.

The story kept moving and kept you interested, if you could ignore the continuous voice dragging out. I found I couldn’t always. It was distracting.

Enjoyed this book….

But, not a fan of the performance. Please do the narration in a normal voice for future books. Looking forward to the next story in the series.

Not good to invest in.

The story could have had possibility. However, I don't care for cursing in stories and the narrator sounded as if she was whispering, more of a raspy voice. Really disappointed with what could have been a good story to get away in.

Great listen!

This was a really great book to listen to. This new to me author wrote a good novel of suspense with many twists and turns. Keeps you guessing right until the end to figure out who the mole is and how things happen.

the whole story was great

I loved the narrator and the story. it even had a good ending. koodos to the writer.

Great Storyline.

The storyline was great and kept me interested but the narration was not the best. The voice she used was annoying and if the story wasn’t so good I would have stopped listening.

Poor performance

The reader often sounded like she was whispering or breathless. . It was distracting and unpleasant to listen to and detracted from the story.

Terible narration!

I fought to finish this book as the narrator spoke in a grating whisper for the main character. The story was ok, but too much wishy-washing thinking from the main character that didn't match the personality portrayed.

I like the book a lot I don’t think there was anything wrong with it

Loved the story. Two broken/damaged people learning to trust again. Also Maya coming back to a relationship with her grandfather
