This is a great book. It's long. Makes it worth a credit. This book starts out with Charlie when he was a young man. He helps a Marshall out being a member of his poicy. He is good at it and becomes a Marshall. This book goes through his life. You get to know him and his family. It takes you through different adventures. I enjoyed this book but I didn't like all the bad things that happened in his life. But this is real and I think this is a real accurate description of his life. I'll go back later and listen to it again because I know it would probably come together better knowing what I know now. I listened to it over a period of time. Next time I'll start it and finish it without listening to anything else. It's almost seventeen hours long. I thought it sounded good on 1.2 speed. Todd Eflin does a great job narrating this book.
