I enjoyed this book so much I have listen to it five times while working outside in my yard. I wear ear protectors cuting my grass. I kept waiting for something to happen next outstanding book

can never listen to too many Pendergast books. hope the authors continue writing for many years

No more zombies

Too many recent Pendergast stories have been about zombies. I would like a break please.

great book, horrible narrating

another great story, another horrible narration....!!!!!
two books in a row and still no new Orleans accent

So preposterous it is actually lots of fun.

The plots in this series are, always, preposterous, but incredible fun. The narrator, Rene Auberjonois did an outstanding job in this title: his tongue in cheek rendering of a hungry crazy zombie is worth the book.

Not my Favorite Pendergast Adventure

I want to listen to each book in order, but it sounds like Maude is reading it this one and the one before not my favorite narrator!

I am glad this one is done.

Still good but my least favorite of the series

I love this series and can't get enough of Agent Pendergast and the people who surround him but I was not a fan of this particular story. The subject matter, voodoo, and the death of one of my favorite characters was just too dark. And there was only a single humorous passage in the entire novel which is unusual for these authors. So, important to the developing story but not a particularly fun read.

I am still loving all of these.still many more to go. On to the next one

Another great book.

This book probably had the biggest suprise for me on who and why in the series. Also hated to lose a regular character. I love this series. only complaint is I miss the earlier narrators southern LA drawl for Agent Pendergast. This one has none.
