Good story, poor reading performance

The reading was done in a cadence-like delivery. same into action patterns over and over. The story was very good, but the reading was distracting and irritating.

Sweet

This was a great book and audio. The narrator did a fantastic job. Sweet story that keeps you wanting to know more.

Great book!

I've never heard from this Author before. the book was fantastic
had me gripping for more right from the first chapter! enjoyable on the level of Frieda McFadden type books. Just awesome.

Engaging and warm

This story had me captured from page one, I had to know what happened from chapter to chapter. The characters were made real. I was especially drawn in by the friendship of Micki and Lark.

Absolutely everything I wanted it to be!

What a great book. From the moment it started all the way to the end, it was captivating and I caught myself daydreaming about it when I had to put it down. All loose ends were wrapped up and it was just a great story of friendship and perseverance. Loved it.

I couldn't stop listening!

The characters were very well written. I was 100% invested in the story and just had to know what happened.

Kept me Guessing

This book kept me guessing and on the “edge of my seat.” This was my first read of this author’s work. I like her style of writing and will look for more of her books.

Love that the characters were relatable

This was such an easy read, but yet I hated to put it down. I finished it 2 days and that was with working 8-10hrs. I picked it up every chance I had. It beat listening to the news. I can’t wait until the next book!!!!

better as a short story

The story was too long. I fast Forwarded through a large amount of the story and didn't lose anything. The end was unexpected and good.

The story was wonderful with a lot of good life lessons. I really appreciated that the author didn’t go for the easy romantic conclusion.
