her self-image should have been destroyed by unfeeling self-centered parents and she should have felt manipulated by her brother, but the biggest problem was she couldn't see love standing in front of her.

Painfully a slow tease

Interesting story but at points, painfully slow and somewhat irritating! It took over 15 chapters to really start our lead lady to gather courage and stand up for herself. Also irritating was our lead man’s inability to verbalize his feelings until practically the end-little lone waiting four years of visiting!!

Justin Eyre is the best narrator!

just perfectly clear, believable characterisation, accents, male voices, differentiation ,tone, pace - wow an utter professional!

I finished it!

I cannot stand AI narration, and it surely didn’t serve this story at all. I could not like any of the characters, the heroine and hero both nitwits.
The story was passable and there might have been subtle wit, but you’d never be able to tell with the obnoxious and monotonous narration. I finished it, but now know to stay clear of this narrator, who could possibly ruin anything.

The heroine is an idiot!

This is my first review ever, and only because the heroine is so stupid. My eyes rolled so many times.
