Worth Your Audible Credit

I love Brian Tracy.

I listened to this book while flying and didn't have too high of expectations for it because I've listened to some great Brian Tracy books and they can't all be gems, right? But, I had to break out a notebook shortly after starting this audio to take notes and answer some of the questions Brian was asking. I felt like this book helped me clarify what I'm trying to accomplish in my professional life and educated me on a few things I was unaware of. Brian's personal story is very inspiring and made me feel like I can figure out this business thing if I seek the right information.

Brian is a true master!

Brian really makes his topics easy to follow and thus very easy to understand. Thank you Brian for sharing your wisdom.

Good value in the book, avoid the website

The book is a clear, concise outline for anyone wanting to improve their general business or sales knowledge. In the book he refers to his website and all of the FREE things there but I can tell you from experience that the only thing that is free is the "Newsletter" which is actually just an endless barrage of offers for his paid programs.

Annoying wet mouth noises

I was only able to get through about 20 minutes before having to stop listening.

Sounds like an old man sucking on a cough drop while reading his book. Every pause in speech, every comma, every period, I hear him smacking his tongue, his lips, his cough-drop or whatever it is he has that is obviously making too much saliva in his mouth. I'm sure his intention was to lube up his choppers to read through this book. But, to me its pretty annoying, and I cant get past that.

the first 20 minutes is pretty much just hyping himself. and thats all I listened to before giving up. So I cant give a full review just yet.

I might have to shelve this audiobook, and give it a listen in another month or so when my attention isnt drawn to the two negatives I've noticed right away in this audiobook. The wet mouth sounds, and the self promotion.


should be titled Self Promotion Business Made Simple: A lip smacking adventure through my accomplishments.
