From vivid memories of past lives in his early teens to encounters with Indian Swamis who introduced him to the profound philosophy of Vedanta, each step brought him closer to his spiritual awakening. At just 23, Pieter took a leap of faith, leaving behind a promising career in industrial design to join an ashram in France, where he studied under the revered Swami Ritajananda. His path eventually led him to India, where he lived as a monk for over a decade.
When Pieter met his eternal soulmate, Jenna—his "Sister Moon"—he began a new chapter, integrating the lessons of his monastic life with the joys and challenges of the modern world. Together, they founded the Path of Light Center in Virginia.
