Excellent continuation of the story
Originally I wasn't sure whether I would like this series from D.K. Holmberg, but I have found that I have been really drawn into them. The plot thickens and more is revealed about Sam and Alec. I have found that I love D.K. Holmberg's books even though three is some awkwardness to his writing at times. I don't think he takes the time to perfect them, but takes the approach to publish a lot of books. If you get hung up on small details or idiosyncrasies by the writer that you dislike then you may miss the joy of reading his books.
I love the characters and the narrator is excellent.

SLOW......
I'm having a hard time listening to anymore. Imnonbyhe second book haven't finished but needing a break. There is an insane amount of repetitive comments and that adds to the VERY SLOW story. Main characters are constantly told the same thing over and over. Constantly circling the same dilemmas with no movement. UGH.. I cant get into this story and its impossible to keep my attention. You can literally listen to the first chapter and the 33rd and not miss the 32 other chapters. Nothing significant has changed.
Love the narration. She does a great job. Second book sucks so far and I'm seriously tired of this series and I'm only 2 books in :(
