Great storyline
The mews are the narrow streets behind the huge manor houses . with there stables on ground floor and living quarters above . these were places for the hired help and the horses and carriages. this book I believe accurately tells of plausible lives lived in and amongst such places in the time told .

Wonderful Book! I want to listen to it again!
When I reluctantly reached the end, I just wanted to start all over! I haven’t been so immersed in a book or identified with a character as much as this for years!! Anna Parker-Naples is one of the two best audible narrators I have ever heard! I plan to search out everything she has narrated!
