Awww Sookie Sookie Now!!!!

This turned out to be a terrific read. I believe it's a 3 book serial. It's got Love, Hate, Envy, Motherhood, Fatherhood, Entitlement, Money and Big Business. Oh yeah I forgot mental illness. It starts out with a boy meets girl with a strong attraction towards one another. They are bogged down with stressors trying to build and blend a family. And now here comes life baggage meeting them in the middle. The boy is rich with a controlling insane girlfriend and the girl carries 2 adorable children with a self-centered ex-husband. With these problems circling them the fireworks are exploding all over the place. Omg!!! I can't wait to listen to book 2.....

This is not my 1st time as a reader with this author. My 1st time was back in 2018, when she only had the book on audio and the rest were physical books on amazon. Thank you for blessing us with additional audiobooks. Good job Chantelle Clarke as narrator, I loved how you bought each character life.

Could not finish

Destiny was wimpy and Jacob was a liar. The description sounds great but failed to deliver. The narrator was good.

Could’ve been great

I feel like there are chapters missing. There’s no real flow. It goes from a first meeting hookup to “Boom” they’re in love. No transition of how this came to be. Alpha billionaire is not shown. I mean Jacob isn’t weak but I don’t see an alpha. I’m glad this was free in the romance package. It’s not terrible. It has promise. Maybe get a better editor. I don’t think I’ll be paying for the next book.

I really liked this book and would recommend this book. I wish this book was a movie or TV show. It had a great storyline and sexual storylines. I liked the unlikely couple. The author hit on real life issues like mental illness, blended family, interracial relationship, racism, suicide and divorce. I can't wait to hear part 2. The narrator was good.

Great Story!!!

I really enjoyed this book. Not a lot of romance novels write about interracial couples it was refreshing. Plus, I also like that you forget the couples race and get caught up in the story line. I am look forward to part 2 because I need to know what happens next.
