Great presentation
A real humble down to earth guy this Richard Rohr. Very realistic presentation on the nature of human suffering and the remedy found in truly experiencing Christ’s sacrifice. Society does a great job of turning the world upside down, but this book really sets things upright again.

Deceptive title It does not clearly state that this is a Christian themed book I wish I could get a refund
The disease of addiction is real, and to cure it with a religion is just more separation
I should’ve read the review a little more carefully, but I was excited about spirituality, the disease , the maintenance and the cure of addiction and the 12 steps

So good
Richard Rohr is so real. The twelve steps is not just for alcoholics and other addictions. We all are addicted to something. Even our own opinions. This lecture gives much to think about and to look deeper within and find our true selves no matter how broken we may be.

Wonderful insight and perspective into the 12 step
I really loved listening to Fr. Rohr's application of the 12 steps as tools to spirituality. as a recovering alcoholic the 12 steps gave me a plan for building a relationship with my Creator. Fr. Rohr demonstrates how that happens.
