Fostering is a trial-blessing, but the trials have refined this family, and the blessings include birth children in the home. This audiobook not only shares quotes from foster children that give insight into their world but also quotes and letters from the Hunt children sharing how fostering has changed them.
After fostering 38 children and adopting one, Breathing Through Foster Care shows the complexities of attachments that last a lifetime while showing you how a foster mom worked through letting go when needed. Hunt also shares the sometimes exhausting decision-making process of deciding whether to adopt a particular foster child.
