Jake holds his guilt close to his heart like a shield and River is the one woman who can rip that protection away. It can be listened to as a standalone but by listening to all the books, you’ll find a deeper connection with the characters. Fans of Book Lovers by Emily Henry and Part of Your World by Abby Jimenez will enjoy the heartwarming tale of Breaking Past.

the Stevenson family just keeps growing!
I love that the primary characters in this one were "extended" family, and that the conflicts found in "natural" families weren't ignored. Holly Lynn kept me listening, wanting more. IS there more?
