Acerca de esta escucha
Change in our lives is inevitable whether it is a change we desire, like a new job or a new city, or one thrust upon us, like the loss of a loved one or a challenge to our health. Either way, we get to choose who we become as a result of these changes in our lives. Change is a powerful teacher, shaping and molding us more into the likeness of Christ as we let it do its work.
Combining biblical wisdom with inspiring personal stories, Braving Change helps you
- recognize the transition you are in
- recover from loss
- reclaim your power to make healthy choices
- rebuild after change
Each chapter includes reflection questions and a guided prayer to help you make sense of the change you're experiencing so that you can grow through it and be prepared for the next change that comes your way.

Vraving Change with your best friend
Change can be exhilarating, nerve wrecking, heart breaking, and/or hard to maneuver... but it cannot be escaped if you are going to live. Andi takes us on a heart rendering journey through change and sharing tools for the adventure. More than anything, however, is the depth of peace, joy, comfort, and vitality a relationship with the LORD brings and how that relationship is necessary when braving the storms [and sitting in the eye of the storm] of change. Andi is vulnerable and invites us to join her with questions that provoke our own thoughts, feelings, and where we go for help after each chapter while also praying with the reader. She makes it feel as if she has invited you to an inmate coffee date to share in a conversation and wrestling of how to take the next brave steps. while reading I felt she had peaked into my own journal entries I made during my own Rollercoaster of changes: prayers prayed, words of the Lord cringed to, and questions raised. I am sharing this with friends young and old... as I wish I had an Andi, so full of compassion and Jesus, when I was heading out into the world as a young adult. She points you consistently to the only one who knows the way and can calm the storms, and for that I am very grateful. This book is worth having multiple copies on hand to share without expectation of getting it back. It is also a book that would be valuable for book club, especially in this world that is constantly changing, along with a Bible,a journal, coffee and friends. ♡
