Loved so much

I’m so happy and sad at the same time. I loved the emotions carried throughout the series. I also loved the fact that the narrator was changed again for the few ending books. I’m sad that it has ended. The Love for these characters make me sad to say goodbye 🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽

I ❤️ BKD!!!
I started listening to BKD a little while back in June 2022. I started with #1 in the, "Vampire Awakenings," series & from the very first few sentences I was HOOKED. Fast forward to today, approx one whole year later & I can honestly say that I have listened to every single audiobook BKD has released. yup ! She's THAT good! (yay for the next book in the, "Shadow Realms," series!!)
BKD has 2 other aliases that she writes under & so far, ive listened to one series that's absolutely unbelievable, by her aliases, Erica Stevens, a series which I HIGHLY recommend called, "The Captive.'" (I believe the series is called THE captive but could just be Captive?!?!)
That series boasts 12 books however I only listened to 1 thru 10 bc for #11 & #12 the narrator changed & I'll just leave it at that!! (I was SO upset tho. I was dyyying to listen to Dave & then Kyle's storys!!)
Sorry I diverted there! What I'm trying to say is that if you DON'T dive into ALL the phenomenally incredibly wonderful worlds that the extraordinarily brilliant mind of BKD has (thankfully) written. then you are DEF missing out. BIG TIME!!!
"BOYBD BY LOVE," FOR ME WAS VERY BITTERSWEET!! (I LOVED the, "Authors Note," at the end btw 💕) It was an AMAZING conclusion to a VERY AMAZING series & I too will be sad that there are no more to follow and having said that I am thoroughly satisfied with the way in which it ended. NOTHING was left a miss. THE fight was incredible as was the continuation of Sabre & Caro's relationship. I really loved how you got a little bit of everyone's view as THE fight was going down! I think that THAT really did tie up the whole thing nicely. Meaning it was a great touch & it seemed to be perfect for the last installation of the serie (it's like BKD tied a very pretty big bow around both the, "Vampire Awakenings," & "The Alliance,'" series, leaving us listeners to want for nothing , "extra."
I also LOVE LOVE LOVED her choice of narrators for this series. For me, I must say that MEG PRICE, BY FAR is so amazing to listen to, so enthralling that you can't help but almost be in a trance like state listening to her voice!!)


THANK YOU SO MUCH BKD FOR ALLOWING ME TO ESCAPE MY OWN BRAIN, BY ENTERING ALL THE BEAUTIFUL WORLDS THAT YOU HAVE CREATED. YOU WERE BLESSED BEYOND BELIEF WITH THIS INCREDIBLE GIFT & I JUST WANTED TO LET YOU KNOW (if you ever read this!)

I love this series I think they worked so hard and I hope they can finally find some peace. Wait they are not real, LOL. I will miss these characters I loved the author epilogue I felt like I wanted to cry during it. I’m just glad I stumbled on this series after all the episodes were out so I didn’t have to wait until the next one was out.

These books are so romantic and packed with action. I loved every minute. She’s an incredible author and the pictures she paints with her words are so vivid.

I loved to story, however I wish they would have kept the accents of all the characters through out the whole series. 😢

Loved it so sad it’s over I wish we had gotten to hear from Ian and Sara where it all started but it was amazing
