Konfrontation mit Goedda – die Unsterblichen werden gejagt.
Im Sommer 1289 Neuer Galaktischer Zeitrechnung sind Menschen von der Erde an verschiedenen Punkten des Universums in Ereignisse verwickelt, die in einem engen Zusammenhang stehen. Perry Rhodan und sein langjähriger Freund Reginald Bull beispielsweise sind in der Galaxis Plantagoo auf die Galornen gestoßen, die im Auftrag unbekannter Mächte an etwas arbeiten, das für die heimatliche Milchstraße bestimmt ist.
Weder Rhodan noch Bull wissen allerdings, wie Plantagoo und die Menschheitsgalaxis verbunden sind. Alaska Saedelaere landete nach einer Irrfahrt durch die Galaxien Bröhnder und Tolkandir zuerst in der »Mittagswelt«, die sich mittlerweile als die Heimstatt der mysteriösen Goedda entpuppte.
Von Terra aus haben drei andere Zellaktivatorträger – der Arkonide Atlan, die Kartanin Dao-Lin-H'ay und der Terraner Myles Kantor – einen wagemutigen Vorstoß begonnen. Mit Hilfe der Herreach vom Planeten Trokan stießen sie in die sogenannte Traumblase vor.
Die drei Aktivatorträger wissen, daß sie nur in diesem Raum den Kampf gegen die Gefahr aufnehmen können, die derzeit die ganze Milchstraße bedroht: Nachdem bereits 52 Planeten komplett entvölkert wurden, ist damit zu rechnen, daß dieses Schicksal auf Zehntausende weiterer Welten zukommt. Bei ihrem Vorstoß erfahren die Unsterblichen, daß hinter Goedda eine mysteriöse Macht namens Shabazza steht, die die Invasion der Milchstraße gesteuert hat. Den drei Aktivatorträgern bleibt anscheinend nur ein Ausweg: BOMBEN FÜR DEN BRUTKOSMOS…
