A bargain that will, apparently, hopefully, save her life and deliver her mother’s murderer.

It’s also Lex’s last chance to get her shit together. No pressure.

Embarking on the most bizarre road trip imaginable, Lex will have to face her demons—both real and imagined—in order to rediscover any hope in a town where hope has always gone to die.

Wow.

This is the best book I have read this year. As we learn more about, Lex layer by layer the story gets more and more intense. From found family and old family grudges, old relationships and new we experience intriguing and sometimes shocking revelations about Lex. This page turner is filled with great fully realized characters and a narrative that keeps its promises with every page. Excellent read. I highly recommend it!
