There is more to Mike then meets the eye

This story is a little more involved than some of the other books in the series. Mike is a computer geek who has a rock guitarist alter ego. Allana is a yoga instructor who is working to start her own business. She hooked up with Mike one night after one of his shows. When he finds her backstage at Vamps one night with a woman sucking on her neck, he doesn't recognize her. When a man breaks up the two women and tells Mike to get her out of there, he complies. The man also seems to be trying to compel him to forget what he saw, and he appears surprised when Mike is not affected by the compulsion.

Mike makes sure Allana gets home safely, but she is angry that he doesn't remember her name. She should have known better than to expect a womanizer like him to at least recall her name. When they meet again at a New's Even party their friends are hosting, they seem to "click" and leave together. Allana tells Mike that it is just a hookup and nothing serious. She is too busy with working to open her yoga studio to start any kind of relationship. Mike, however, has a different idea. He is crazy about Allana and is determined to see her again.

Not going to try to tell you the story as you can read it for yourself. Let's just say that Mike will discover that he is a little more than he thought he was. Some of his family history has been kept from him and he will be shocked when he discovers what it is.

Underground Encounters series

An epic add to this series. While it can be a stand alone read/ listen I think it's better when the previous books gave been read so you have some background on some of the secondary characters found in this read. Who doesn't love the nerd / rockstar? You get the best of both worlds and Allana is helpless to resist, but resist she tries. A great romance read with perfect narration, about protection, love and some paranormal craziness mixed in that is sure to please!

Another Excellent story in this series!!!

Blaze, an Audiobook by Lisa Carlisle is book 7 in the Underground Encounter series…I devoured this riveting story of Mike and Allana!!! He is a Rockstar and is at Vamps. The bouncer asks him to help a girl…and he agrees. But, this chance encounter is just the beginning of a wild journey!!!!

This story was narrated by Amber Lee Connors and Kieran Flitton…these two have narrated all of the books in this series and they are excellent!!!

I really enjoyed reading Mike and Ally's story. Ally was the one with the big hangup but Mike is the one who went through a dramatic change. It was really well thought out and the characters balanced well.
I loved listening to the book the narration was really good. It was easy to follow the story and watch it come alive.

If you like a hot rocker gargoyle, one night stands, and vampires this us the book for you. I like the dynamic between Mike and Allana. this was my first time reading a gargoyle shifter romance and this was good.

The saga continues

Wow each book in this series gets better and better.
Mike is a computer geek, but also an up and coming rock star with the band The Velvet Cocks.
Allana has a yoga class and is opening her own studio. She had a one night stand with Mike a while back.
When they meet again at Vamps, and underground club, she is being attacked.
Something in Mike compels him to protect and watch over her. She is fed up that he doesn't seem to remember her from their one night stand.
And this is where things get interesting will they work through their issues and have the lives that they want?
I’m enjoying this series so far and look forward to more of it.

Drama, Steam & Emotions

I enjoyed this entertaining PNR. Allana and Mike's story provides the reader with plenty of intense emotions, drama, tension, twists and steam. These two really have a lot they have to deal with as the storyline unfolds including plenty of baggage on both sides, hurt feelings and current danger. The narrators did a wonderful job with this book. I thought their performance was spot-on and that their voices fit the characters well. All together, a very fun book!

GARGOYLE YOGA

Awww I was not ready for this story to end. It was interesting seeing this human find out about his past and see the relationship progress from one night stands.

Love this series so much! I loved getting to see more of the gargoyles and listening to Mike and Ally’s story. I loved these two characters. They had a great amount of chemistry. Just another great addition to this world!
