It was great. I read it five times.
I didn't like the narrators pauses before the next chapter, because she stopped at the wrong times. Everything else was great.

Best book EVER!
What made the experience of listening to Black Beauty the most enjoyable?
A peaceful tale great for snuggling up and listening or drifting of fto sleep. The narration keeps you focused and happy you are listening. My 8 yr old Daughter's favorite book.
A wonderful tale for children and adults alike. Seeing life through the eyes of a horse.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Black Beauty?
I loved it from the very first sentence to the the closing chapter. A tale I re-read/listen to over and over again.
What about Victoria McGee’s performance did you like?
She captured the essence of the horses in her voice and manner. Very easy to listen to.

extremely sad and cried when Ginger died but laughed off and on throughout the book
