Sam crosses the college and finds himself running for his life with a back-talking book that is far more than it seems and a class that no one has even heard of. If he can navigate the deadly college politics and the looming war with the barbaric Wolfmen, he might just find the fun and adventure he was looking for.

Good by the end, but difficult for the first half

As others have commented the first half of the book is difficult if you have already read the completionist chronicles.(CC hereafter) The writing is done well enough, but it rehashes the start of the game, and the first CC book to the point that it feels like a clone. Once Sam achieves the title class it picks up and takes off as a story in it's own right. While a major point, the book itself is worth hearing if you can get past that. It adds in some interesting ties to the main CC story that could bring interesting perspectives if developed properly.

Additionally the story has diverged enough from the main CC story at this point that subsiquent books should easily avoid the problem above. I will pick up book two when it comes out.

Good book as always but

I enjoyed the second half of this book much more than the first half the abusive treatment of the MC got tire some quick when will I get it was to justify the actions in the second half it seemed a bit overdone

Amazing Story

I absolutely loved this book and I can't wait for the next one. I would highly recommend this.

Great ending

This wasDifferent than any other completions Chronicles but it completed something that I didn’t think needed to be done ending was great

Same great world I have come to love! Just a different person with a different perspective and it’s just as good as the others!

Do your self a favor

and read/listen to the ritualist series first.
10/10 good story good voice acting. I love it. Keep pumping out good content please!

I love the humor

Dakota krout is one of my favorite authors. While I enjoy the completionest books this is my least favorite. I had a hard time listening to it then second time around. I have listened tonally the others 3-5 times.

lots of fun

I really like this series, and it's previous dungeon extension. lots of fun. excited to see where where things go from here.

Missing rescue

I love this book... except how is Finn rescued? Like other reviews, I feel there is definitely a section missing. I would have given it 5s across the board if it wasn’t missing the actual rescue.

Absolutely loved it!

best book I'm read in days, I was captivated from beginning to end and can't wait for more.
