Great book for upcoming Pastors and ministers!!

Amazing book that gives so much helpful and impactful information. Highly recommend for those who are in ministry or looking into getting into ministry and need some help to better understand where to begin when developing a sermon.

Effective preaching!

Great audio book in order to make adjustments in the pursuit of becoming more effective while developing and preaching the Word of God.

What I needed

I failed to make growth and development ,as a preacher, a higher priority. I developed port habits over a space time. This book challenged me in such a way, I feel inspired to be my best and to put my loves and fish in God’s hands and watch Him work a miracle.

This book is practical but yet spiritual.

I recommend this book to young and old preachers alike. Haddon Robinson is a master and I will ever be grateful for writing this book.

The points were easy to understand, and apply. The ideas were inspirational and show that preaching is valuable, and worth the effort it takes to craft a good sermon.

Great book for preachers!

I love so many things about this book. It gives you clear advice on so many aspects, even on how to clear your throat for better speach! 😂 it's well balanced and full of great advice for preachers. I love how Haddon emphasizes on delivering the message instead of just preaching it.

If you only read one book about preaching....

I am always hesitant about engaging books on ANY Biblical subject because there are just too many ways in this day to gain incorrect or inaccurate information. I simply just want to gain clarity in my calling and better myself as a student, teacher and presenter of the Word. This book completely satisfied that desire. After a few months of going over it and replaying chapter after chapter I can say this is one of the greatest audiobooks you can purchase on the subject of preaching. Robinson's clean and concise approach to preaching was an eye opener on just how much work I need to do even after having already have preached 20 years.

Taking time out to review his own Sermons on YouTube and observe the recommendations assisted me greatly in understanding his viewpoint. The additional recommended resources and definitions at the end of each chapter emphasized that in your prep, make the TEXT the main focal point of EVERY sermon. The examples and outlines and also recommended references provided greater assistance on how to communicate God's Word into a life changing CLEAR presentation with just some practical adjustments during preparation. Please get the book, apply the principles and study to be faithful to the call.
