A great way of validating the New Testament is through Old Testament prophecies. Since many of them were fulfilled, it is easy to check prophecy contents and compare them to New Testament documentation. The more cryptic prophecies are highly debated, but there are many that are straightforward, simple to understand, and easy to validate, such as Daniel 9 and Isaiah 53. While more than a thousand prophecies are documented by the experts, this book covers some amazing accounts foretold hundreds of years beforehand. Proof that the Bible is inspirational is best understood by comparing prophetic passages and fulfillment. Consider how prophet Daniel, in 537 BC, knew the Messiah would come in the early first century.
